Faithful iPhoneCheatSheet reader Brian discovered a cool little easter egg in the Freeverse game Plank. It’s actually an application within an application, called the Plankophone, an odd rotary-dial-shaped musical instrument you can play with. Here’s how to open it:
Step 1: Open Planks. Tap once to bring up the menu screen…
and then double tap on the circular button on the top left of the screen.
Step 2: You should now see a musical note, Tap that.
Behold the Plankophone! It’s a weird little musical instrument that you play by clicking on the various circles around the ring. As the circular play light goes around the ring, each selected circle will create a sound. You can turn them on or off to change the “song”.
You can also adjust the tone and pitch of the sound by using the sliders on either side of the screen.
