Yesterday’s Lumen update brought with it more than just the “smart mirror rotations and bug fixes” that were outlined in its “What’s new” game description – it actually brought about the first bonafide, legitimate, and intentionally created iPhone game cheat! (that we know of, anyway). By solving a certain “impossible” puzzle, you can now unlock a new menu item which adds the ability to see the solution to any of Lumen’s puzzles you might be stuck on. Here’s how to do it!





Step 1: Launch Lumen (duh) and hit “Puzzles”



Step 2: Choose the “Hard” puzzles



Step 3: Choose the puzzle called “Simply Impossible”



Step 4: This puzzle really is impossible, unless you know that the obstacle on the top, one square from the left is fake and can be moved or discarded.



Step 5: Drop a red laser on top of the square which lights up with a white glow around it.



Step 6: Place mirrors and crystals as shown



Step 7: Congratulations! Now you have the option to reveal the solution to any puzzle!



Step 8: Now, when you hit “Menu” you should now see a new option for “Reveal Solution”

Please note, it appears as though if you have somehow beaten the Simply Impossible level before installing this update, you will have to defeat it again to unlock the cheat.
